The First Outboard Engine Built Specifically For Pontoons


Introducing the first outboard engine built specifically for pontoons. We took an in-depth look at the day to day life of pontoon owners and built an engine platform to specifically address their needs. New features include rubber motor mounts to reduce vibrations transmitted to the boat and special gear ratios and large displacement cylinder blocks which provide abundant torque and high thrust. All Pontoon Series models also work with a remote oil tank reservoir for improved ease of maintenance. The remote oil tank provides easy access to view and fill the oil supply when necessary, reinforcing the Evinrude E-TEC Pontoon Series as the lowest maintenance outboard engines in the industry.

In addition to the added features, the Pontoon Series still enjoys all of the best-in-class features of the Evinrude E-TEC lineup. Pontoon owners specifically enjoy Evinrude E-TEC advantages such as direct injection and stratified combustion which results in ultra-low emissions and extremely high fuel efficiency. A no-maintenance, high output alternator gives pontoon owners the amperage to power the largest stereo and speaker system they can fit on their boat. And, like the Evinrude E-TEC outboard engines, the Pontoon Series engines feature 3 years or 300 hours of no dealer scheduled maintenance.
