How did you get into fishing? “I started fishing with my parents when I was 3 or 4 years old.  As a family, we would spend our weekends and vacations on the water chasing a wide variety of fish species, which taught me a vast array of different skills and techniques. I am so thankful that my parents encouraged those early lessons as the skills I learned (and continue to learn) have served me well on the tournament circuit.

When I was 18, I started travelling the world searching for new species to catch and techniques to learn. In 2000, I came to the USA to learn about largemouth, smallmouth & spotted bass; and compete in professional tournaments, first as a co-angler and later as a boater/ pro.  To date, I have fished around 30 countries around the world.”

What is your favorite thing about your Evinrude? “For me, it’s all about low maintenance and Reliability – I’m a young lady out on a large body of water, I have minimal mechanical knowledge, I want and need something that will get me out there and get me home safely. Its peace of mind for me & for my family.  It’s that simple.”
